My husband, Rob, and I live in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. We share our home with five
kitties named Mazy, Emma, Wasabi, Luna and Max. By day I'm a computer geek working in the I.T. department of a large insurance company. By night I am an artist and photographer, working hard to one day pursue these passions on a fulltime basis.
Art has been a large part of my life since I was a small child. You could park me at the kitchen table with some art supplies and I would be content for hours. Later on, when I got my hands on my first camera, I spent more than a small fortune on film development. Digital photography removed those shackles and opened up a new sense of freedom to click the shutter as much as I wanted. Unfortunately I am known to have a short attention span in that I don't like to stick with one medium or subject for very long. I get bored quickly and I like to try new things. This is both a blessing and a curse due to the inevitable expenses of new craft supplies and camera lenses.
To help offset these expenses I put my skills to work. When I began riding a motorcycle several years ago I struggled to find cool stickers and t-shirt designs for lady bikers that I really liked. My solution was to sit down and draw my own designs. My Zazzle store, Motogear_4_Her, has been thriving ever since. In addition to my store I also shoot stock photography. I began shooting stock back in February 2006 and became hooked immediately. I was thrilled to finally find a good use (and get paid) for all those photos that were just sitting on my hard drive collecting dust. When time permits I occasionally accept requests for custom stock photo work. If you have any special requests you can drop me a line using my contact page.
When I'm not doing art or photography I enjoy riding my '05 Victory 8-Ball motorcycle through the curvy mountain roads of North Georgia. (Ladies, you've just GOT to try this!) I am also an infrequent blogger when the mood hits me. To see what I'm up to you can visit my blog by clicking here.
Thank you for taking an interest in my work. If you have any questions or would like to contact me for any reason, please use my contact page.
